Hello and a very warm welcome to our website.

Georgina’s Café is an up-to-date take on the traditional English tea shop. All the traditional favourites but with a classic international twist and some interesting extras.

In creating Georgina’s we’ve combined what we, ourselves, want when we meet our friends or simply have a quiet cup of coffee – comfortable surroundings, quiet, attentive service and good food and drink. Modern furniture and lighting contrast with Jacobean oak beams and quaint doorways.

Georgina’s is the place for coffee and cakes, afternoon tea, the Great British Breakfast, some tremendous hot dishes and hot snacks, as well as a daily “specials” selection. And her cakes are a wonder to behold – and even better to eat!

All of that in a medieval building with visible ties to the eighteenth century York printer, Thomas Gent, a cosy reading area and a warm and friendly atmosphere. A recipe for many enjoyable visits.
